Im getting so out of the habit of doing this blog but i reallywant to have it as a memory. Thursday or at least i thnk it was thursday started off pretty bad, my first negative experience in Potugal, i got my phone stolen which wasnt fun but in retrospect it could have ben a lot worst in my opinion. But putting that behind me the evening was much better a big group of us went to the Indian restaurant i had been to before and was still as good this time. Had the same coconut curry xacuti it was called its so nice. It was a very pleasant evening of socialising and getting to know people better which was good hopefully more of them to come. After the meal our group split into two some others went to an Erasmus party but me Jo Emily and our Portuguese friend Nono didnt fancy it especially with my experience at mini mercado. So my group went to a few bars in the bica region of Bairro Alto which isnt a part i was familiar with and we went to this nice quirky bar which i cant remeber the name of but id like to go to again. Whilst there we discussed going to Morrocco anjd even had a map drawn by Nono to get there. I was sober and so was a bit hesitant but it was a nice thought but whilst back at home we decided we would take a trip to the Algarve.
Friday, we did some research and booked the tickets for Lagos i dont remember doing much else particularly. Had an early night as had to get up at 6 ish to get the couch.
I set an alarm for what i thought was 6 20 and so i went to bed happy knowing that i would get up on time. However, the alarm was pretty feeble must have been on silent or something but anyway it woke me up, to be honest i never fell into a deep sleep so went out to the lounge because i heard voices and saw Lizzie and Alex and i was suprised even by Portuguese standard that they were still up but i made my way to the kitchen to grab some breakfast and saw that the time was actually 3 so i made my excuses and went back to bed. After rushing out due to not being able to find my keys and packing etc we went to the metro and got it to Jardim Zooligica where the couch station is though once at the stop we did no know exactly where the station was so we stumbled into some posh hotel, Emily walked into the revolving door which was funny and got directions from the hotel staff, we must have looked a bit ridiculous in all honesty.
