Mamma Mia, its actually an Italian saying, I have obviously heard it before but i thought that it was just a stereotype but apparently not. My Italian friend Eva and I talked about it today and she said that se actually used it along with 'Maddonna' which I guess is the equivalent to oh my God or Jesus. Had my language class today which was useful, id say fun but... The best part was when the teacher asked if anyone spoke good English and everyone turned to face me, and i was like I can speak fluent English. Had a really good chat to a Israeli girl called Tulle and her Dutch friend whose name i need to find out soon. The Dutch friend was explaining to me how she loved toilet humour which a bit of a surreal experience. We also talked of how Holland and England are similar in their efficiency, just thinking about how quickly items are put through the checkout at a supermarket, its te same in Holland but here just like everything else its so layed back and slow. Even when theres a massive que forming the till workers still take their time.
