Wasnt really that exciting a day today. We ad to go to the city university to hand in our applications for the language course, then went to a presentation which i found a bit cringy to be honest they made us say our name and where we came from, it was all a bit embarasssing really. We were then meant to go for a treasure hunt around lisbon but we, me and Jo didnt really fancy it, a lot of the Erasmus schemes are a bit forced, i know that is te point but they just arent really my sort of thing. Instead we went food shopping for a group meal for this evening to say goodbye to a German couple who are leaving the house soon. We then went back to the city uni for our first language lesson which was good to get started. It was a bit surreal, it really was like being back at school again at a desk facing the teacer, making notes etc. All in all it went well and i hope ill progress over the coming weeks. The lesson ended at eightish and we headed for home, and started cooking straight away, some oter housemates had done some chopping and prepared stuff for the stir fry. The food was good we had rice, noodles vegetables, chicken in black bean sauce, it was laid out like a buffet which i enjoyed. Again there is some perculiarity that for a house of predominantly erasmus student, that us european students that we cooked an Asian dish.
